How does paying for transport work?+
It's 100% direct and transparent: you pay your fare directly to the transport company. Al Rafiq guides you through forming the group and booking the ride, works out everyone's share, and suggests the most practical ways to split the bill (cash, peer-to-peer payment apps, etc.).
How is the safety of the “100% Sisters” option guaranteed?+
By turning on the women-only filter, you only see groups created by and for women. Male profiles are completely hidden: no access to your conversations or your rides, even in search.
Is Al Rafiq a transport company?+
No. Al Rafiq connects pilgrims travelling at the same time so they can book a licensed, legal vehicle together. We don't own or drive any vehicles.
